MasterFinish 249 is well suited for shutter faces made from natural wood, plywood, steel, fibreglass, polyester, aluminium& paper.
Concrete cast against surfaces coated with MasterFinish 249 exhibit a smooth, hard, uniform finish.
MasterFinish 249 gives an improved exposed surface of concrete economically by reducing the application time, quicker stripping, easier and faster cleaning of the forms and increased life of the formworks.
DOSAGE
The coverage rate for MasterFinish 249 is 20 to 25 m²/litre of diluted solution (1:4 solutions with water), when spray applied depending on smoothness and porosity of the formwork used.
Progressively better results are obtained on plywood and timber moulds as they become impregnated and the operatives become accustomed to working with the release agent. MasterFinish 249 in general, may be used over timber moulds. etc., which has been treated with other mould oils, provided excess has been removed.
